Pool Remodeling in Dallas–Fort Worth
Big Tex Construction remodels existing pools and pool decks in Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas. We update tile, coping, and the deck around the pool, and we can tie in stone work, concrete and shade structures as part of the same project.
Pool Remodeling
What's Included
Many pools in North Texas are structurally fine but look tired: faded tile, cracked coping, a worn deck. A remodel brings the pool area up to date without building a new pool. Because we also do concrete, stone and pergolas, the whole backyard around the pool can be planned together.
- Waterline tile replacement
- Coping repair and replacement
- Pool deck repair and resurfacing
- New concrete or stone decking around the pool
- Stone features and raised walls
- Shade structures near the pool

Pool Remodeling FAQs
What does a pool remodel usually include?
It varies, but a remodel often covers some combination of interior surface, waterline tile, coping and the surrounding deck. Equipment updates are sometimes part of a remodel too. The scope depends on the pool's condition and what you want to change.
Why is cracked coping worth fixing?
Coping caps the edge of the pool. When it cracks or loosens, water can get behind it and into the joint between the pool and deck, which can lead to larger problems over time.
Does the pool need to be drained for a remodel?
It depends on the work. Interior resurfacing requires draining. Some tile, coping and deck work can be done with the water lowered rather than fully drained.
