Fencing
What's Included
A fence does a lot of work: privacy, keeping pets and kids in, and marking the property line. Most fence problems start at the posts, where soil movement and moisture take their toll, so we look at the whole run — not just the boards you can see — before deciding whether a section repair or a full replacement makes more sense.

Fencing FAQs
Is a wood fence a good choice compared to other materials?
Wood is popular for privacy fences because it looks natural, can be stained, and individual boards are easy to replace. Metal and vinyl fences generally need less upkeep but look different and cost differently. The right choice depends on your budget, the look you want, and how much maintenance you're comfortable with.
Can a leaning fence be fixed without replacing it?
Often, yes. A fence usually leans because one or more posts have failed. If the panels are still in good shape, replacing or resetting the problem posts can straighten the run. If many posts and boards are failing at once, replacement may be more practical.
How can I help a wood fence last longer?
Keeping soil, mulch and sprinkler spray off the bottom of the boards helps, as does applying a stain or sealer periodically. Fixing a loose or leaning post early also keeps the rest of the fence from being pulled out of line.
How do I get an estimate?
